Job Duties
Processing the purchasing of materials and services as part of Procurement and Warehousing department in Aluminium
Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) and handle the entire purchase process from the receipt of requirements till order placement.
The role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, and systems.
- Maintain good relationship with regular vendors/suppliers.
- Evaluate tender submissions fairly and cost effectively.
- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Negotiate the best deal for pricing, payment and shipping for orders/contracts.
- Work well with company management and staff at all levels, catering to needs.
- Ascertain document accuracy and archival.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce or
related to Purchasing, from a reputed University and possess full CIPS (all modules) or equivalent procurement professional
certification, with a minimum 8 years direct related work experience.
Candidates should be proficient with standard MS office applications, have good command of English, oral and written, be
committed towards safety, etc. Working knowledge on Materials Management preferably in SAP / Ariba or any other ERP
(Enterprise Resource Planning) system will be an added advantage
