Nursing Faculty Required
The University
of Bahrain, College of Health Sciences, has openings for nursing
educators who are team-oriented and have a deep passion for nursing
education. We are a dynamic and creative team dedicated to engaging and
supporting students on the path to nursing excellence. The College was
established, using an American model in 1976, and was recognized by the
World Health Organization, (WHO) as a Collaborating Center for Nursing
Development in 1990. The Nursing Division is expanding to meet current
and future HR needs for the country and the region.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- PhD
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Education and experience should be in one of the following areas:
o Medical Surgical
o Critical care
o Women’s Health
o Mental health
o Community/Primary Health Care
o Pediatric
- Experience teaching in a Case-Based or Problem-based environment
- Possibly consider candidates with MS and extensive experience and demonstrated leadership
Salary and Benefits
The following will be provided:
§ A tax free competitive salary depending on qualifications.

§ Initially a one-way economy air ticket from your home of record to Bahrain and after one year, an annual round trip ticket
§ Medical coverage provided
§ 2 Months (July and August) plus an additional 2 week between the semesters and all national holidays
