Business Process Analyst - Batelco
Purpose:
- To plan, implement, develop, integrate and maintain a quality & business processes throughout the company for the certification of the ISO 9001:2000, Business Excellence model, Process Approach, Voice of Customer (VOC), Environmental management through ISO 14001 and to ensure that the company's objectives are met at all times.
- To set up measurement system consistent with a framework provided by TRA.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 quality standards at the various departments and sections in the company.
- Maintain the ISO 9001:2000 Internal Audit programme and carry out internal audits to sections and department accredited to the ISO 9001:2000 certification.
- Report to the section concerned management, the internal audit findings and highlighting the corrective and preventative actions to be taken.
- Follow-up Internal Audit findings and ensure that audits are closed with corrective actions being completed.
- Prepare and maintain training material on the subject of the ISO 9001:2000 quality system standard, documentation, documentation control and quality Internal auditing.
- Carry out training sessions and workshops on the above mentioned subjects to staff from departments and sections involve in the ISO 9001:2000 certification.
- Review, amend and maintain the Quality and Business Processes common procedures and liase with the IT staff to update the procedures on Batelco Intranet system.
- In liaison with the Contracts and Purchasing department, carry out quality evaluation of new supplies and maintain evaluation records.
- In liaison with the users and the Stores section, investigate quality problem related to poor supplies and materials and maintain records of the investigation.
- Map business processes using mapping technique, and to ensure that technique is followed by different sections and departments.
- Carry out business processes audit "end-to-end" and set up a range of measurements for improvement in liaison with process owners.
- Analyse and improve the business processes performance in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and cycle time.
- Carry out Business Excellence self-assessment survey to analyse, identify key actions for improvements and prioritise actions to be incorporated in the Business planning cycle.
- Investigate and implement the best in class benchmarking techniques to improve customer perceptions, processes, human resources practices and corporate image.
- In liasion with actions owners of Voice of Customer (VOC), investigate and identify potential causes, analyse, prioritise actions for improvement and agree on time scale to implement.
- Follow-up, Review, Assess and Verify VOC actions implementation, and communicate to concerned parties.
- Ensure that the implementation of Environmental Management System (EMS) or other system is integrated with the existing Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
- Carry out analysis on identifying the impacts of Batelco's activities and practices on the environment and continually to improve their environmental performance.
- Carry out methods for the assessing the environmental aspects and potential impacts such as noise and vibration levels, radiation, vehicle exhaust emissions, and so on.
- Carry out facts findings, data collection and analysing and then recommending opportunities for improvement whenever, there are issues related to the quality of products and services provided by the company.
- As and when requested by the section manager, carry out inspection on quality problems report findings to concerned managers.
- Maintain a program to promote awareness about all activities of the Quality Business Processes in the company.
- Carry out investigation on procured goods and services not meeting Batelco's requirements and report to the concerned managers findings and the corrective and preventative measures to be taken.
- Map, analyse and improve the Information System (IS) processes to support business needs and objectives.
- Review & align all Batelco's measures with Quality of Service (QoS) requirements provided by TRA.
- Ensure that QoS measures are available through regular audits to the Network and front office and report any non-compliance to CE through CL.
- Ensure that QoS measures are provided on quarterly basis to TRA.
- Carry out awareness session to the management and staff involve in QoS measurement and improvement requirements.
Job Requirement:
Degree in telecommunication engineering with at least 6 years operational experience in the field of telecommunications and quality assurance. Internal quality auditing knowledge with minimum of 4 years internal auditing experience.
